I lived at 2027 N Sheffield for close to 3 years, and was one of the first tenants who moved here when it was newly built. The building is centrally located and amenities are good – each unit has a washer and dryer. The building is just a walking distance (less than 2 minutes) to the train station and shorter walks to restaurants, spa/salons and shops. There are bigger retail shops nearby too (about 10 -15 mins walk) to the Apple store, Sephora, Ulta, Trader Joe’s, West Elm, Equinox, etc. Management is responsive and also quick to resolve maintenance requests. I renewed my lease every time due to these positives and only recently moved out due to relocation. I loved it here, it was my first apartment in Lincoln Park and it was great.
